A set of new profitability ratios in the sensitivity charts (Spreadsheet: Analysis) for more detailed analysis

Available in the software compilation 3.6018 and newer.

The sensitivity charts in the spreadsheet Analysis have additional set of ratios:

  • "Internal Rate of Return before tax", "Profitability Index (PI)" and "Simple Payback, years" in the drop-down menu above the chart, which informs about the profitability of the project in the whole lifetime.
  • "EBITDA" in the drop-down menu under the chart, relevant for limited selected period analysis, for example a specific year.

This is great! Sensitivity analysis can include changes of several variables at the same time, not only one (like it used to be)

Available in the software compilation 3.6018 and newer.

"Show line with all changes combined" option has been added to the Spider analysis chart.

So far, in the sensitivity analysis the user could define the change for only one variable and assume that the rest of variables stayed unchanged, for example: what if investments increase +/- 10% and all other variables such as costs or incomes are without any changes.

Now, it is possible to combine the effects of sensitivity changes on up to 5 variables selected by the user. As a result, the line chart showing all the changes combined will be displayed in addition to the one-variable sensitivity line charts. In the below example, the line chart showing all the changes combined is of the violet colour and includes +/- changes of: Variable costs AND Fixed costs AND Investments altogether, providing the overview of the project profitability in extreme positive and negative scenarios.

Cell Break-even and Cell Break-even undo can be done on self-added worksheets in a calculation file, which provides greater flexibility

Available in the software compilation 3.6017 and newer.

So far, break-even undo was possible on the Invest for Excel® spreadsheets, but not on self-added spreadsheets.

With the new feature, the users can enjoy more flexibility on performing cell break-even analysis on self-added spreadsheets with no fear of loosing the track of the original input numbers.

Automatic sorting of data in the tornado chart for more orderly overview

Available in the software compilation 3.6017 and newer.

Regardless of the order of selecting variables for the analysis, the tornado chart data is sorted automatically so that biggest values are at the top of the chart, which provides more orderly overview.

New digital signature for macros for higher security

Available in the software compilation 3.6013 and newer.

The compilation 3.6.013 includes new digital signature for macros, valid until Aug. 10, 2014.

The benefit is the bigger security of files. Without the valid digital signature for macros, when program is being started, the user needs to activate macros manually and some pop-up windows with warnings might appear, for example: “Please, insert smart card”.

Defining default folders for Template Files

Available in the software compilation 3.6013 and newer.

With a new button, now the user can define the default folders for Template Files. So far, defining the default folders feature was available only for calculation files and not the templates.

A "Make folder default" button has been added to the Template Folders tab of the Files and Folders window. By pressing that button, the user can define the default path for saving, storing and accessing the template files, which provides more orderly fashion of working with calculations.

Importing of financial transactions from financing file (Invfin) into historical periods of calculation file (Invfile)

Available in the software compilation 3.6013 and newer.

An option to "include transactions prior to calculation term in opening balance" has been added to the update from financing file form. This gives possibility of importing of financial transactions from financing file (Invfin) into historical periods of calculation file (Invfile).

The software supports Microsoft Excel 2010 64-bit

Available in the software compilation 3.6013 and newer.
