Neste Oil has acquired the International Group License for Invest for Excel Enterprise Software

”The Invest for Excel application should be used for investment appraisals in Neste Oil Corporation from now on. Invest for Excel has been used by a limited number of users for many years, and we have good experience from it. By expanding the usage we want to emphasize on the importance of investment profitability calculations, uniformity and efficiency in generation of calculations.”

 

History of Invest for Excel usage in Neste Oil:

The first licenses of Pro Edition of sofware were bought in the year 2000 and were used in the business areas ”Natural gas” and ”Oil refinery”. During the following years more licenses have been aqcuired and the usage has spread throughout the corporation internationally. Few years later – in 2006 - the corporation upgraded to the highest software Edition – Invest for Excel Enterprise - and has used it since then. The named-user software licenses were implemented mostly in Neste Oil Corporation and subsidiaries like Neste Jacobs and Rintekno. In 2009 Neste Oil took the final step in Invest for Excel implementation, upgrading to an international group license of the Enterprise Edition. Such a license allows for a very widesprad software implementation as the number of users is not limited.
