The copper has never been more important as in today’s technologically advancing world. The development of green technologies, electric cars, artificial intelligence or the 5G networks will undoubtedly increase the demand for copper, which is estimated by some experts to even double in the upcoming 10 years.

KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. commonly known as KGHM, is a Polish multinational corporation, a major copper and silver producer globally. The company owns assets located on three continents.

DataPartner has been the trusted supplier of KGHM for years.

"We are proud that in the Age of Copper, as many experts refer to the times we live in, DataPartner supports one of the major and highest quality copper producers in the world.” – says Malgorzata Jargan, VP Business Solutions EMEA at DataPartner Oy.

"This year KGHM has upgraded to the newest 3.9 version of Invest for Excel software with better performance and many new features, which will enhance planning and analyzing even the most transformational and complex investment initiatives. It has been a great pleasure working with KGHM Teams and I look forward to possibility of meeting again in person, when the restrictions are lifted.” – Malgorzata adds.

Today, KGHM is able to face any challenge, win markets and implement broad and ambitious investment projects. Those include state-of-the-art circular economy investments. KGHM's implementation of the new advanced furnace in Legnica Smelter is a model example of the circular economy project. The furnace is designed to be fed with high quality recycling materials with more than 90% Cu content, so the company will diversify its sourcing to the metal waste and not only extracted metal ores.

The company's strategy indicates also high focus put on the energy transformation towards green energy, building photovoltaic farms and many more initiatives.

We wish KGHM all the best and great success in all endeavors!
